This will provide them with the body and shape required to form a visible six pack. The following exercises are appropriate exercises to select from.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
1)	Long Arm Crunch: Lie on the floor, facing the ceiling and extend your arms over your head along the ground, grasping your hands together over your head. Tighten your abdominal muscles and lift your shoulder blades off the floor. Repeat this twelve to sixteen times.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
2)	Reverse Crunch: Life on the floor facing the ceiling. Hands may be placed flat on the floor beside you or behind the head. Raise your knees towards your chest until your legs are at a 90 degree angle with your body. Tighten your abdominal muscles to lift your hips off the floor. Lower your body and repeat this process twelve to sixteen times.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
3)	Vertical Crunch: Lie flat on the floor facing the ceiling with your legs extended upwards. Place your hands behind your head and tighten your abs to lift your shoulders off the ground. Raise your heels towards the ceiling to create a U shape with your body. Lower yourself and repeat the process twelve to sixteen times.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
4)	Bench Crunch: Lie flat on the floor, facing the ceiling with your legs elevated on a bench or another form of furniture and bent at a ninety degree angle. Hold your hands at your temples or extended down besides your legs. Now, raise your head and shoulders towards your knees whilst lifting your pelvis off the floor. Flew your abdominal muscles at the top of the movement and hold for a moment. Lay back down and repeat this twelve to sixteen times.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
5)	Leg Tuck: Sit sideways on a bench or some form of furniture, grasping the edge for support with your legs hinging over. Raise your legs slightly and straighten them. Hold this position for a moment then lower your legs. Repeat this process twelve to sixteen times.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
6)	Upright Sit Up: Stand upright with your back straight and hands clasped behind your head. Proceed to bend at the waist (performing the traditional sit up movement) and straighten up. Repeat this process twelve to sixteen times.</p>
<p>&#13;<br />
7)	Scissor Cuts: Lie flat on the floor, facing the ceiling. Place your arms flat at your sides and lift your legs slightly, crossing one over the over. Hold this position, then lower your legs. Repeat this twelve to sixteen times.</p>

Abdominal work outs should be performed twice a week. It is important to remember to alter your work out every eight weeks to ensure the muscles do not become used to the work out, thus rendering the exercises ineffective.</p>

Before commencing with abdominal exercises, it is important to remember to stretch your abdominal muscles. Do this by lying face down on the floor with your elbows bent and hands positioned beneath your shoulders. Straighten your arms so that your back is arched, ensure your legs remain flat on the ground. Turn your head towards the ceiling and hold this position for a period of ten seconds before lowering yourself back to your starting position.</p>

<p>Unfortunately the answer that I give has not changed&#8230;.and the answer is None! There is not one single ab workout that in isolation will create enough of a metabolic response in your body to promote fat loss.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>You can imagine since I am a personal fitness trainer, nutritional guide and fitness professional I am always being approached by people asking what the &#8220;best types of exercises and workouts are for losing stubborn stomach fat.&#8221; Or&#8230; What are the most effective stomach workouts in order to bring out visible six pack abs?&#8221; The problem with this is that most of the time, people with excess stomach fat are looking to try to uncover their abs via some &#8220;miracle fitness program that focuses just on abs&#8221; that is going to slash the fat off their abs in no time flat.<br />&#13;</p>
<p>So back to the most highly asked fitness question&#8230;What are the Best Core Fitness Workouts that Promote Six Pack Abdominals?</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>The thing is&#8230; they are going about the problem entirely the wrong way! The truth is that you don&#8217;t lose stomach fat or get ripped six pack abs by doing ab workouts.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>When you spend your energy doing abdominal exercise after abdominal exercise, crunch after crunch with hopes of flattening your stomach and bringing out those sexy 6-pack abs; you are simply wasting your time and energy. What you should be doing is the correct workout program that will actually reduce your body fat for ever.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>If I were to choose an answer as to what the best exercises are for losing belly fat, my answer would probably surprise the &#8216;sit-up&#8217; out of you. On the top of the list you would find exercises such as the following:</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>various forms of squats, lunges, deadlifts, clean &amp; presses, snatches, swings, presses and pulls, mountain climbers, sprinting, etc.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Back when I spent hours training people on the one-on-one personal training level, I would entail much of the above mentioned moves in my clients workouts.  I almost always would design fully body workouts such as listed above instead of abs exercises directly targeting the midsection. <br />&#13;</p>
<p>However that’s not the final answer&#8230;The way you combine those full body exercises into a strategic workout that maximizes your metabolism is also very crucial.</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t get me wrong&#8230; I do recommend a certain amount of exercises that directly target the abs and core, but these are only a small fraction of the programs I design for my clients as your time is better spent focusing on the full body exercises that stimulate the greatest hormonal and metabolic changes within the body. You know what else is really cool about doing these full body workouts that I teach? In addition, to actually working the larger muscles such as your chest, back and legs; you also will have the opportunity to tone your arms (triceps, biceps, and shoulders) as well as &#8220;GUESS WHAT?&#8221; &#8230;..YOUR ABS!</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Nutrition is without a doubt the &#8220;king of getting a six pack&#8221;. I have heard it said that six packs are baked in the kitchen and not in the gym. <br />&#13;</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s clear this up for good&#8230;</p>
<p>&#13;</p>
<p>Stop wasting so much of your time focusing on sit-ups, crunches, leg raises, and all those silly worthless &#8220;abs contraptions&#8221; in your efforts to try to develop 6-pack abs. Instead focus on high intensity full body lifts using combination multi-joint exercises all strategically combined into highly effective fat loss workouts. If you add the right fitness plan that is not necessarily geared towards losing belly fat, but geared towards building lean muscle and you also focus on eating to support your workouts and allow your muscles to grow, then you will burn belly fat!</p>

These exercises range from the basic and well known like the classic abdominal crunches, to leg raises, and multiple weight lifting machines designed to target that specific trouble area of many people&#8217;s bodies.</p>
<p>&#13;The wide variety of various ab machines out there, and the large variety of different abdominal exercises can be a little bit intimidating to a lot of people who aren&#8217;t natural gym rats. Whenever there are so many choices, attempting to figure out which abdominal exercises are best for your goals and your situations can be intimidating. The good news is that there is no &#8220;only one way&#8221; to get there, which means that a wide variety of abdominal exercises can be effective.</p>
<p>&#13;The other good news is that despite all the commercials bombarding you with the claim that you have to buy this machine or that machine, but many of the best abdominal exercises aren&#8217;t from machines, but are some of the same good old fashioned exercises that you practiced in gym class.</p>
<p>&#13;The three best overall abdominal exercises:</p>
<p>&#13;1. Crunches. That&#8217;s right, the good old fashioned stomach crunch is still the best exercise for abs and should be the foundation for any serious exercise program focusing on abdominal exercises.</p>
<p>&#13;2. Reverse crunches. These are similar to crunches, but emphasize the lower abs over the upper abs. A great balance exercise for regular crunches.</p>
<p>&#13;3. Side bends. These are really good to work on the supporting oblique muscles.</p>
<p>&#13;Someone who only concentrates on these three exercises will do well in building up their abs. These abdominal exercises should always be the base of any serious workout. With weights and other machines, there are also several other really good exercises that can add some great variety, help you keep interest in your workouts, and also help to build your ideal abs.</p>
<p>&#13;Leg raises are another favorite among gym goers. Just set yourself up with good posture on the appropriate machine and lift the legs. <p>A normal 1 hour tv show has 22 minutes of commercials. That&#8217;s more than enough time to get in 20 minutes of cardio everyday without adding to your stresses and time constraints. Now, some of you will say you don&#8217;t watch any tv.</p>
<p>Ok sure, but if you want to use that excuse without thinking up a way to utilize the mini-trampoline, that&#8217;s lame. You can jump on it for 2 minutes after everytime you go to the bathroom at your house. Do it with your kids. Whatever. Just find a way to use it. Don&#8217;t think of of excuses, think of solutions.</p>
