None! Ab workouts on their own do not create enough of a metabolic response in your body to create fat loss.

I often get asked what the best types of exercises and workouts are for losing stubborn stomach fat in order to bring out visible six pack abs. The problem is that most people with excess stomach fat trying to uncover their abs are searching for some \”miracle abs workout\” that is going to rip the fat off their abs in no time.

They are actually going about this dilemma entirely the wrong way! The truth is you just don\’t lose stomach fat by doing abdominal exercises.

The problem is that focusing most of your time and effort on abs workouts and abdominal exercises to try to flatten your stomach and bring out 6-pack abs is simply wasting your time. When you could be doing the correct workout programs that will actually reduce your body fat permanently.

If I were to give you an answer as to what the best exercises are for losing excess stomach fat, my answer would include full body exercises such as the following:

presses and pulls, clean & presses, various forms of squats, deadlifts, lunges, snatches, swings, mountain climbers, sprinting, etc.

These types of full body exercises would include a much higher percentage of the exercises I would design instead of abs exercises directly targeting the midsection. The way you combine those full body exercises into a planned workout that maximizes your metabolism is also very important.

Don\’t get me wrong… I do recommend a certain amount of exercises that directly target the abs and core, but these are only a small fraction of the programs I design for my clients as your time is better spent focusing on the full body exercises that stimulate the greatest hormonal and metabolic changes within the body. In addition, a side-effect of working out using mostly full body multi-joint combo exercises are that you indirectly work your entire midsection even though you are not specifically targeting the abs.

Keep in mind that the most important factor for losing belly fat to see your abs is actually in the nutrition arena. No matter how hard you workout, if your diet is full of junk, then your abdominals will be covered with ugly fat. Nutrition is without a doubt the \”king of getting a six pack\”.

So let\’s clear this up for good…

Stop wasting so much of your time focusing on crunches, situps, leg raises, and all those silly worthless \”ab contraptions\” in your efforts to try to develop 6-pack abs. Instead focus on high intensity full body lifts using combination multi-joint exercises all strategically combined into highly effective fat loss workouts. Couple that with a healthy diet full of natural unprocessed whole foods as close to their natural state as possible, and those elusive six-pack abdominals will be yours in no time!

The Centers For Disease Control And Prevention (cdc.gov) states that “overweight and obesity are both labels for ranges of weight that are greater than what is generally considered healthy for a given height”. If you fall into one of these categories, the likelihood of certain diseases and other health problems is increased.

The body mass index (BMI) generally correlates with the amount of your body fat. Your weight and height are used to calculate your BMI. So, proper diet resulting in reasonable weight loss is one of the 4 primary components in your plan to achieve six pack abs.

If you want to know how to get a six pack, you’ll need to understand that walking plays a critical role in your plan. Walking provides great abdominal muscles exercise basics. Beginners should include walking workouts in their plans to get six pack abs.

Ask any woman what is the most attractive part of a male body and most of the time, they will tell you it’s the six pack abs meaning that your abdominal muscles showing up with beautiful definition. The abs is considered by many as a sexy muscle and is a symbol of a fit and healthy man. It’s very effective, and the best way to get sexy abs fast. I do it every other day. A full routine is 25 reps with each position = 250 total reps. 4 sets = 1000 reps. Takes about 30 minutes with resting. A few hints unmentioned: Start off doing a number of reps you can handle. No sense in going extreme if you can’t finish all the movements consecutively. Next is always breathe ALL the way out when your abs are flexed. I’m breathing but you can hardly hear it on the video. Breathing is crucial to building abdominal mass and volume. Simplest and Popular Challenging Abdominal Fitness Blast Exercise

Probably the Ab blast exercise is simplest, and most popular, abdominal exercise is the crunch. The four basic mechanisms of blast injury are termed primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary. Primary blast injuries occur as a result of the blast shock wave. The purpose of this study was to model the response of the thoraco-abdominal system to underwater-blast waves. The effort focused on the dynamics of submersed gas bubbles because previous studies had shown that most injuries occurred to the gas-containing organs and the immediately adjacent tissues. Experiments were conducted to obtain data for use as input in the development of a model.

In order for an abdominal exercise to be at all effective it should be performed in a specific recruitment pattern or sequence. Consider the following training recipe when designing your next core/abdominal exercise routine and have a “BLAST” awakening and redefining your center of power!

: the base of support should be stable especially in the beginning. The greater the surface area that you occupy when performing the exercise the more stable the exercise feels, the less demanding it will become. A curl up performed with feet on the floor is less challenging than performing the abdominal curl with both feet in the air.

: once stability in the base is achieved then a lever can be altered to increase the level of difficulty. A longer lever away from the core increases the load to the core thus demanding greater recruitment for these muscles. Recall how much more challenging a hover is when performed from the toes vs. the knees.

: once the levers are added successfully you are ready to introduce additional activity or movement. This can be achieved by incorporate diagonal, rotational and planar movements’ ie- rotation, diagonal patterns that cross the midline etc.

: it is important to consider the use of moveable surfaces, underneath the exercising participant ie-Stability ball, a BOSU board, a Reebok CORE board.
