You should do a very long and very difficult and strenuous ab workout only once every 2 days to give your body time to rejuvenate itself, and actually big muscle instead of tearing it. Also, try doing other types of cardio workouts when you can to get the blood distribution in your body working better (i.e. go out and run more often)

Only do the workout once a day. Do the workout slowly because the slower the crunch and workout, the more your muscles will feel it.

You can only do the workout once a day because like all muscles, they need time to heal. If you keep doing them multiple times a day, it will actually shrink the muscle. Each time you lift or work a muscle, it breaks down and rebuilds stronger and bigger. So, if you keep breaking it down, it won’t have time to rebuild bigger.

Abs are fairly hard to get, so even if you don’t see them, it’s not like they’re not there. Abs usually only appear if you have minimal body fat, so maybe try to cut back a little on eating or eat healthier to drop some pounds. That way, it’ll be easier to get visible abs.

Diet. Men need to be 15% bodyfat or less for abs to show. Women need to 18% or less.
