Ab Core Routine and Discussion
I weigh 190 lbs. and I’m 6’3″ tall. I was wondering if it was possible to gain a six pack without any machinery of special equipment? What type of aerobic or cardiovascular exercises should I be doing?
I’ve always been a HUGE fan of working out the natural way. But no matter how many Crunches & Sit-ups I do, I can’t manage to lose my extra bit of belly fat!
Please share your thought, thanks!!!
Well, first off, you need to burn the fat before you can start building muscle. If you start building muscle and have fat it will be hard to earn that six-pack you want. Running is the best way to lose the fat, start with warm up jogs and develop them into mile-runs, keep yourself active and continue with crunches. What you need is to develop core muscles. Look up how to work on core muscles that is key. Hope that helped.
Here’s a good set of abdominal exercises that don’t require any equipment: http://www.total-fitness-guide.com/work_ab.php
If you want to try losing belly flab, you could consider doing some cardio (ex. >20min running / fast biking) prior to your ab routine.
Hope this helps!

My friend, I have the same problem … but I’m 156 lbs and 5’9 … I used to have abs galore lol but now they are covered over with this layer of … FAT!!! haha I have been trying intense ab workouts now for about 1 1/2 months and I am finally starting to see a difference.
Good luck
