Go to a gym and work out until it hurts. Don’t over work or else you get no where.
When you work out, your muscle tears a bit, and thus it will hurt. over a little bit of time, like a scab over a cut, it will heal a bit larger than it was before because sort of like a scab, it heals over the wound, but unlike a scab, it doesn’t go away. this is perfectly healthy as long as you don’t over do it and waste yourself.
Ask a worker in the gym which machines are good for building up the muscles in your torso and they should help you.
Also eat and drink healthily to replenish yourself and keep your body working to it’s fullest, so it can have a better outome faster
