What To Look For In Golf Gloves For Men

Some golfers think that golf gloves are not necessary to play the game. But think about it for a moment. Your hands are the only thing that touch the club and anything that can improve your grip ought to be welcomed not shunned. Once you’ve found a brand and a glove that fits, consider buying three or four at the same time. This might seem excessive to you but here’s the reason why it makes sense.

The typical golf glove could last much longer if it was properly cared for. Most golfers will simply take it off their sweaty hand at the end of a round and stuff it in their bag. The next time the golfer goes to use it he discovers it is all crinkled up from drying out inside the bag usually in the shape of a ball.

Moisture and dirt are what destroys golf gloves. If you dry them properly and rotate their use you will get a much longer life out of them. Also, clean the grips on your clubs. Everybody cleans the heads but often the grips are neglected. Dirt on the grips act like sandpaper on your glove.

In short, find a glove that feels right on your hand and then take care of it particularly if it gets wet. And unless you’re into status symbols, don’t make your buying decision be based on the idea that more expensive equals better quality.
