What is the best diet to go on if you want six pack abs? I would appreciate if you told me how many meals to eat, what time to eat the meal, and what should be in the meal. Please tell me about any pills or protein shakes or protein powders because i like doing that kind of artificial stuff. Thanks in advance.
If you are really looking for the best diet, I suggest doing what this mom did…

I was reading the truth about six abs and it said "do 10 reps of 3" if a rep is to repeat something it did not say what to repeat. instructions and explanation would be nice. : )
and if it is to repeat, can you tell me what to repeat
okay, and if it is a contraction and release excercise would a lunge be considered a rep?
examples please
Repeat your sit up 10 times (10 reps) and do 3 sets with a brief rest inbetween.
Mines grown so strong I have a one pack now!
Is this plan good: alternate between running and ab exercises every other day? How long should I run for and what ab exersises should I do and for how long? thanks
A important component in working out is variance. You have to switch it up often, otherwise your body gets used to a specific exercise, and basically adapts to it, which may sound good theoretically, but it’s actually bad regarding efficiency. Your muscles grow when they are challenged or pushed, and if you continuously do the same workout, your body gets accustomed to it so it is no longer as challenging, and it no longer is pushing the muscle.
Keep the running, but also use variance w/ in your ab exercises. There are tons of different kinds of crunches or ab exercises. Switch it up.
I want to get a six pack. I have a 4 pack right now. I was wondering if i should do workouts everyday.
If you these 5 days a week you will be right on target
here are the best exercises for hard core abs:
Side Bends
* Holding a dumbbell in you right hand, stand with feet shoulder width apart and your knees slightly bent.
* Place your left hand behind your head and slowly bend sideways to your right lowering the dumbbell down to your knee.
* Return to an upright position and repeat for the desired number of reps.
Medicine Ball Sit Ups
* Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
* Hold a medicine ball (choose a 5 pound ball to begin) to your chest and have a partner stand at your feet (not on them).
* Push your lower back into the floor flattening the arch and hold.
* As you curl up throw the ball to your partner. Hold the crunch as your partner catches the ball and throws it back to you.
* Catch the ball and slowly return to the start position.
* Tip: Don’t sit right the way up as you wait for the return pass. Your shoulders should be no more than 6 inches off the floor.
Weighted Curls with Medicine Ball
* Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.
* Hold a medicine ball (or weight plate) to your chest (start with 5 pounds).
* Push your lower back into the floor flattening the arch and hold.
* Curl up just enough to lift both your shoulders off the floor a few inches.
* Hold for a count of 2 and return to the start position.
Cable Crunch
* This exercise requires a triceps pushdown machine with a rope attachment.
* Knee down in font of the machine holding the rope just above your head.
* Slowly crunch down to your right knee and hold for 2 seconds as you breathe out.
* Return to the start position slowly and repeat to the left knee.
Abdominal Exercise Guidelines
Perform several (3-5) abdominal exercises 3-5 times a week. Start with exercises and repetitions that are comfortable for your fitness level and as you improve increase the number of repetitions. You do not need to do all the exercises; simply select those that work well for you and vary your routine over the months.

I’m going for a six pack,
I’ve cut down on unnecessary snacks, and am going to eat more smaller meals.
I need some ideas for TASTY meals, that are low in fat but high in carbs/ protein. Or good websites for recipes.
Also ideas for food to be eaten cold at lunch etc in work,
Also excercises that work for you and any other advice,
thanks.
Actually you should eat two snacks just make them a lean protein like natural almonds.
I’m following the TNT program that has some great recipes, I think they also have one called the Abs diet. You can read more about it at www.menshealth.com/tnt
You can find recipes their as well.
We’ve had meatballs, almond crusted chicken, beef kabobs and rosemary pork loin just to name a few.
What is a good way to get a 6-pack on your stomach? And when u have it , how do u not lose it? (I have a 2 pack and i want a 6 pack) Hows a fast way to get it without going to the gym?
Do 6-minute Abs. Get a timer and time this:
30 seconds of crunches. 30 seconds rest.
30 seconds of crunches to the right. 30 seconds rest.
30 seconds to the left. 30 seconds rest.
30 seconds bicycles (lying on your back, bring one elbow to opposite knee, then the other). 30 seconds rest.
30 seconds sailor crunches (bringing your knees up to your body while pulling with your arms, like you were rowing). 30 seconds rest.
30 seconds crunches with your knees up. 30 seconds rest.
Then do about 10 pushups. Do this every day for a few months and you should have a 6-pack.
